Cyberattackers have penetrated thousands of Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) taxpayer accounts, forcing the CRA to temporarily close down some of its online services. The attackers obtained the government services access passwords and usernames of 9,041 people, including 5,500 CRA accounts, and used them to successfully access about a third of them in a so-called 'credential stuffing' exploit.
