The Bermudan government has announced that the OECD Forum for Harmful Tax Practices has accepted that the jurisdiction has now met its commitment to report resident companies' economic substance information. As a result, Bermuda hopes to be removed from the European Union's Annex II list of countries that have not yet complied with EU tax cooperation requirements, possibly in October 2022.
