On 16 May 2023, the Brazilian Federal Revenue Department published Ordinance RFB 319/2023, requiring companies to report any 'incentives, waivers, benefits or immunities of a tax nature whose benefit is the legal entity'. The department will make these publicly available on its website, enabling foreign suppliers to be aware of the tax incentives available to domestic companies. Currently, only federal tax incentives are covered but the scope of the decree is to be gradually expanded.
