The Bahamas Digital Assets and Registered Exchanges Act 2020 is now in force, regulating the issuance, sale and trade of digital assets. Any legal entity proposing to conduct digital asset business in or from within the jurisdiction must now be registered, irrespective of the physical location from which the activity is carried out.
