China supplied the largest number of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) relocating to the UK last year, with 650 non-domiciled individuals taking up residence there in the year to April 2020, according to data from HMRC. HNWIs from Hong Kong represented the second-biggest group, with 620 non-doms moving to the UK in the same period.
