Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has announced a further six-month extension to its tax amnesty initiative. The deadline is now 30 June 2024. Qualifying taxpayers will be exempted from fines relating to late registration, late payment and late filing of returns. However, the amnesty does not cover penalties related to tax evasion violations and fines paid before June 2022.
